Deadline for Cadet Invest Applications
THE CADETINVEST APPLICATION WINDOW FOR CADETS IS NOW OPEN THRU DECEMBER 31ST.
This module is for cadets nationwide to apply for the various funding sources such as Academic Scholarships, Flying, and Cadet Lift.
If you are a cadet and want to learn to fly, there are the opportunities for you. Funding is available for other cadet activities, as well.
Application is on E-Services. Main page -> Menu -> Cadet Programs -> Applications -> CAP CadetInvest
There are many options to apply for and some require explanation.
Take Off Program (TOP): is to provide an activity fee waiver and travel for National Flight Academies (NFA). National Flight Academy (NFA) is a NCSA but for CadetInvest is applied to via Cadet TOP. All non-flying NCSAs, apply via Cadet Lift.
Cadet Lift: is to provide an activity fee waiver and travel for the other National Cadet Special Activities. ie Hawk Mountain, National Blue Beret, NESA, PJOC etc.
Cadet Wings: is to provide flight training towards the Private Pilot Certificate for cadets that meet specific requirements. Details for Cadet Wings located in CAPP 60-43 and attached explanation flyer.
Please apply for the opportunities regardless of financial status. Last year, much of the funds went unused. The application window for NCSAs is separate and will be opened later.
YOU MUST APPLY FOR THE ACTIVITY FEE WAIVERS NOW. EVEN BEFORE APPLYING AND/OR KNOWING YOU’RE ACCEPTED FOR THE NCSA. APPLY NOW FOR CADET LIFT AND CADET TOP.

Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP) is also a part of CadetInvest but has a different timeline. Cadets attending a winter encampment may apply for CEAP on November 1. Summer encampment CEAP applications will open later.
